Raheem Kernes

Raheem Junior Kernes, age 24, of Lancaster, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, January, 24th 2017. He was survived by his daughter, Ta Kyah Destiny Kerens; father, Earl Junior Kernes; mother, Sue Ann Kernes of Lancaster, OH; sisters, Carrie Kernes of Lancaster, Kristen (Richie) Spitznagel of Mowrystown, OH, Susan (Mike) Porter of Circleville; brothers, Maleek Kerens, Cameron Kernes, Jayden Kernes, and Keith (Denise) Kernes, of New Philadelphia; grandparents, James and Helen Mathews, of Lancaster, Idella Lamb; also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family, including Deanna West and Randy Wade. Raheem graduated from Lancaster High School in 2011. He was very active in sports and was loved by many family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place on February 19, 2017 at the Knights of Columbus in Lancaster, from 1 until 4PM. In leu of flowers donations can be made in his daughter’s name Ta Kyah Kernes, at the Bremen Bank (Vinton County National Bank) in Lancaster. Caring Cremation™ has taken place through the FRANK E.
