Phyllis Stafford

Phyllis C. Stafford, age 81, of Lancaster, passed away, on February 25, 2015. She was born on December 21, 1933 in Xenia, OH to the late, Ervil and Sylvia Sword Jett. Phyllis loved painting and “found her solitude in her yard work”. She will be missed by her loving family and also by her feline companion “Miss Kitty”.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Stafford of Lancaster and Stephen (Mary Ann) Stafford of Groveport; grandchildren, Colt and Stephanie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Eugene Stafford; parents; sisters, Dorris and Wanda; and brothers, Douglas and Robert.
Caring Cremation has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A graveside service and interment of the urn will take place on June 20th, at 1PM at Maple Grove Cemetery, officiated by Chaplain Karl Hartmann.
