Phyllis Moran

Phyllis Moran of Lancaster, age 81 passed away Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center. Phyllis was born in Circleville, OH on January 2, 1930 to Allen Trego and Minnie Marshall.
She is a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church in Sugar Grove. She retired from weight watchers after 15 years so she could spend more time with her family. She enjoyed gardening, her flower beds, painting, and taking long rides in the country with her late husband Billy Moran.
She is survived by daughters, Diana M. Cook of PA. Dar-Lynn Carpenter-Spires of Lancaster; granddaughters, Tracie Cook of Fl, Shannon (Clay) Taylor of Wooster, Dannuyale (Brian) Hollbrook, Angie K. (Tommy) Smith, Sara (Chuck) Cordle all of Lancaster, Cortnee (Tobias) McClure, and Lyndsey (T Swine) Carpenter all of Columbus; seventeen, great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; bro-in-law, Robert Gray of Cincinnati; special friends, Billy and Lillian Hughes; many nieces and nephews; and companion "Sugar".
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Moran; parents, brothers, George, Robert and Charles Trego; sisters, Marie Gray, Wanda Maracco, and Sara Trego; and son-in-laws, Ronald E. Cook and Michael Carpenter.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Singh, Dr. Sprouce, Rich’s Pharmacy, and especially Kay and Ron Hall for all the love and extra care provided to Mom.
A service will take place at 1:00PM Tuesday, September 25th, 2012 at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Pastor Paul Wymer. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in Circleville.
