Phyllis L. Coll, born Phyllis L. Cavinee on August 8, 1934, in Fairfield County, Ohio, peacefully passed away on March 15, 2024, at Pickering House.
Phyllis dedicated an impressive 43 years of her life to being a Realtor and Broker, making countless dreams come true by helping people find their perfect homes. She was a graduate of Lancaster High School Class of 1952, where she laid the foundation for her successful career.
Described as the sweetest person one could ever meet, Phyllis was known for her kind nature that touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her adventurous spirit shone through in everything she did, like playing cards and stirring fudge at just the right time to perhaps catch a glimpse of someone else's cards.
One of Phyllis's fondest memories was embarking on multiple cross-country road trips with her daughter Holly, each filled with its own set of unique adventures. She had a youthful soul and remained open to new experiences, even enjoying learning new words from her children and grandchildren.
Phyllis took immense pride in her family, including her children Jack (Becky) Coll, Holly (Martin) Hynes, and Tim Coll; grandchildren Genesis “Genny” (Felix) Lebron, Holly Coll, Alex Coll, Jenna Davis, Christy Coll, Nessa Hynes, and Claire Hynes; and great-grandchildren Aidan Coll, Cameron Coll, Gianna Lebron, Joshua Lebron, and Brian Garnett; sister, Dixie (Frank Smith) Carroll-Smith; daughters-in-law Dana Coll and Kim Coll; and several nieces and nephews. Her legacy lives on through them.
She is now reunited in peace with her beloved sons Chris and Pat Coll; father Woodrow Carroll; mother Gladys Messer Coulter; stepfather Joe Coulter; and all those who went before her.
Phyllis will be remembered for her unwavering strength, which she claims was the result of growing up and swimming in Buckeye Lake as a kid. Her resilience made her impervious to any obstacle that came her way.
In honoring Phyllis L. Coll's memory, let us cherish the moments she shared with us and carry forward the kindness and love she so freely gave. May she rest in eternal peace knowing she was cherished by many and left an indelible mark on all who knew her.
