Peggy Lynn Corbin, age 71, passed peacefully on November 7, 2024, in her home, and surrounded by her family. She was born in Chauncey/ Athens, Ohio, the survivor of infant twins.
She was a certified paralegal and title agent, working hand in hand with her husband and daughter, at Corbin Law. Peggy was infinitely selfless, giving to her children and spouse, and she lived wholeheartedly for her family. She instilled that love and dedication into her children, who were deeply influenced by her generous spirit.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents: Roy Mitchell and Lovella Mae Lester; her brother: John M. Lester, and several infant siblings.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years: Thomas James Corbin; her son: Thomas James (Elyse) Corbin, III; her daughter: Jessica Lynn (Gregory) Dilley; her grandchildren: Ravenna and Winston Corbin; Fallon, Finnley and Dalton Dilley; her sister: Arlene Yoder; and several nieces and nephews.
She worshiped nature. And she was most at ease and happy when walking in the woods. She was successful in instilling a love of nature in her grandchildren. Such was her most satisfying achievement.
There will be no services after cremation.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to organizations that align with her love for nature and animals, such as The Sierra Club; The Nature Conservancy; World Wildlife Fund; ASPCA, and the Fairfield County Humane Society, of which she was an early member and was somewhat involved in the organization of the same.
