Peg Dwyer

Peg Dwyer, 63, of Lancaster, passed away at her home on Monday, May 11, 2015.

In the past, Peg worked as a counselor for New Horizons. She also worked several years for Anchor Hocking. She loved bowling and was involved with the Women’s and Youth Bowling Associations. Peg loved helping family and friends. She also loved to help others by lending a hand at The Lighthouse Shelter and several other community programs.

Peg is survived by her siblings, Debbie Thornton, Polly (John) Rice, Steve (Phyllis) Dwyer, Becky (Buck) Chapman, and Lloyd Dwyer, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Kelly, Kim, Keith, Amy, Johnny, Jim, Tricia, Chris, Ashley, Tony, Chris, Jeremy, Nick, Eric, Joey, Ryan, and Kassidy; great nieces and nephews, Jared, Kensey, Alexis, Bailey, Cylee, Tyler, Taryn, Tanner, Scarlet, Dylan, Jake, Chase, Carter, Dominic, Damian, Jayden, Payton, Jordynn, Gaige, Riley, and Brayden; extended family and friends; and her special dog, Libby.

Peg was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Gwen Dwyer.

Funeral service for Peg will be held at 5:00 PM Friday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster with Pastor William P. Means officiating. Friends may visit from 2 to 5 PM Friday at the funeral home. Caring Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
