Colvin
Pauline Polly Colvin 85 of Columbus, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 after a long battle with cancer at The Forum at Knightsbridge.
She was born on April 4, 1929 in Union Furnace, Ohio to the late Floyd K. and Nellie M. Rieder Gordon. She was a retired financial controller for Franklin County Public Defenders Office with 22 years of service and a member of the Upper Arlington Lutheran church.
Polly is survived by her children, Cheryl Colvin of Orlando, Florida, Gayle Snyder of Ft. Myers, Florida, Ken (Rhonda) Colvin of Johnstown, Ohio and Anne Hatem of Groveport, Ohio; grandchildren, Ryan (Wendy) Colvin, Christopher Snyder, Kevin Snyder, Gina Hatem, Kailey Hatem, Cameron Colvin, Allison Colvin, and Kendall Colvin; two great-grandchildren, Brooks Colvin and Georgia Colvin; sister, Arlene Primmer of Columbus, Ohio; aunt and uncle, Grace and Charles Englehart of Reynoldsburg, Ohio; several nieces, nephews and faithful companion, John Knapp.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Steve Colvin, brothers, Gene, Jack and Jim Gordon, sister, Betty Mansfield, granddaughter, Kerri Colvin, nephew, Robert Primmer and son-in-law, Bill Snyder.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 3, 2014 at 12:30 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor Larry Griffin officiating. Cremation has taken place. Burial to follow in Carroll Cemetery, Carroll, Ohio. Friends may visit from 10:30-12:30 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
