Paul E. Slone

Paul E. Slone, 66, of Pataskala, passed away on January 19,2021. He leaves behind beloved wife Susan of almost 47 years, daughter Jeanette and son in law Chad.  Paul was born March 25,1954 to mother and father, D. Eugene Slone and Ida Jo (Thompson) in Louisa, KY.

He is preceded in death by  his grandparents, mother and older brother Larry. He is survived by father Eugene, younger sister Lora Jane and many extended family members and friends.

Paul worked for over 20 years at Jeffrey Dresser Manufacturing building coal mine machinery, which was his favorite job. He retired in 2016 from FCx Performance as a valve technician and installer. He loved working with his hands, working outside, mowing the lawn and riding his motorcycle. He will be dearly missed.

A private service for Paul will be held. A live stream of the service will take place at 12 PM on Saturday on the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page. Arrangements have been handled by the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME.
