Paul W. Finnefrock, 80, of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2015 at OSU Wexner Medical Center.
He was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the US Marine Corps. and a retired certified millwright mechanic for Anchor Hocking Glass Corp.
He was a member of Gloryland Church of the Nazarene, Olivedale Senior Citizens Center, enjoyed bass fishing, buying and selling cars, member of the Lancaster Horseshoe Association, having conversations with people, and the Lancaster High School class of 1953 Luncheon Group.
Paul is survived by his daughters, Janelle (Timothy) Solt of Pataskala, Ohio, Jodelle Finnefrock of Sacramento, California, Penny (Douglas) Kilbarger of Columbus, Ohio and Polly (Kevin) Myers of Logan, Ohio; grandchildren, Erica Moore, Chad Agustin, Joshua (Krissi) Kilbarger, Zachary Kilbarger, Ethan and Alexis Gray; step-grandchildren, Curtis, Alex and Katie Myers; first cousins, Glenn and Bob Thomas who were like brothers; special friend and loving companion, Judy Benson and life-long friend, Linn Altman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis J. Finnefrock, parents, Rev. William and Rev. Ruth Finnefrock and step-mother, Rev. Daisy Finnefrock.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Gloryland Church of the Nazarene with Pastors Kevin Seymour and Mark Clingan officiating. Burial will follow in Carroll Cemetery with the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail to conduct military rites at the cemetery. Friends may visit Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, Ohio 43130 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
