Paul O. Dilliard 81 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at Fairfield Medical Center.

He was a US Navy Veteran and retired as an industrial engineer with Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation. Paul was a member of Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church, Amanda Lions Club, Olivedale Senior Citizens Center, the breakfast club, enjoyed playing Santa and Donald Duck with the kids.  He loved pets, was a bee keeper and Farm Bureau.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Thelma; daughters, Cheryl (Donnie) Sanders of Lancaster, Ohio and Patti (Jeff) Watson of Tennessee; step-children, Linda (Ralph) Sullivan of Buckeye Lake, Ohio, Jim (Rita) Westhoven, Chuck (Lanette) Westhoven all of Amanda, Ohio, Kelly (Chris) Hardman of Circleville, Ohio; many grandchildren and many great grandchildren; brother, Jon (Kathie) Dilliard of Montana; sisters, Carol Oliver Rushville, Ohio and Susan (Bob) Rausch of Celina, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Paul is preceded in death by his son, Jeff Dilliard and parents.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Rick Jones officiating.  Caring Cremation® has taken place. Inurnment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio with the Lancaster Veterans Burial Detail conducting military rites at the cemetery.  Friends may visit from 11-1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial gifts may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice in his memory.
