Paul Barber

Paul Barber, age 75 of Millersport, went home to be with the Lord on July 4th, 2013 at the Pickering House. He was born on June 6th, 1938 to his parents, Lester and Anna Berthold Barber. He was a member of the Millersport United Methodist Church and was a member F.&A.M. Alturas Lodge # 0537. He worked for Buckeye Stamping for 30+ years. Paul was handy and took care of everyone. He was a doer of God's work always being helpful and giving.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Gail Barber of Millersport; children, Paula (John) Clark of Millersport, and Michael (Julie) Barber of Reynoldsburg; grandchildren, Cara (Corey) Weekly of Pickerington,Caylee (Mitchell) Severance of Baltimore, Ryan and Regan Barber both of Millersport, and Macey Abrams of Reynoldsburg; great grandchild, Caydee Weekly of Pickerington; brothers, Richard (Betty) Barber and John (Louise) Barber; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog "Hunter" .
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Annabelle Denison and Linda Mast; and brother Samuel Barber.
A service will take place at 10:30 AM Monday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME in Baltimore, officiated by Pastor Steve Bush and Pastor Jerry Wiles. Burial will follow the service at the Millersport Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 3 until 8PM on Sunday at the Funeral Home. Memorials can be made in his name to the Millersport Covenant Church PO Box 365, Millersport, OH 43046 to be used as they begin their new church.
