Patricia Martin

Patricia Faye Daubenmire-Martin age 78, of Lancaster, went to be with the Lord on September 15th, 2012. She was surrounded by the love of her family when she passed at home. She was born on April 6, 1934, in Lancaster, to her parents Paul and Pauline Groves. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church and was a loving mother who enjoyed working with pottery.
She was survived by her sons, Tim Daubenmire of Lancaster and Jeff Daubenmire of Lauralville; daughters, Debrorah Sprague of Lancaster, and Kathleen (Jeff) Thorn of Bremen; brother, Paul (Judy) Groves; sister, Vickie Ann Smitley; niece, Tammy and nephew, Justin; grandchildren, Natalie, Amber, Nathan, Brittany, and Jamason; great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Jessica, Maddix, and Eli; five step children, Bonnie, Paul, Jody, Wendy, and Tracey.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, Lenoard Daubenmire; daughter, Cynthia; grandson, Leland; her parents, Paul Groves and Pauline Cavanaugh; and stepfather Pat Cavanaugh.
The family would like to give a special thanks to her Doctor, Dr. Brian Varney M.D., his wife, Nurse Lisa, and to all the kind nurses, Dawn, Margaret, and Karen that cared for her along with all the loving aids. A special thanks to the Pickering House (Hospice) and a Big Special Thanks to Home Aids Kim, Sally, and Kathy.
A service will take place at 1PM on Tuesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Pastor Roy Maple. Burial will follow the service at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Family and friends may call from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 on Monday. Memorials can be made in Patricia’s name to Pickering House 282 Sells Rd. Lancaster OH 43130.
