Patricia “Pat” Erwin Larabee, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and
great aunt passed away suddenly on December 28, 2023, in her hometown of
Lancaster, Ohio.
Pat graduated from Lancaster High School in 1965 and was fondly remembered
by her classmates. She had a zest for life that was evident in everything she
did. Pat especially loved entertaining and cooking for her family and friends.
The meals she prepared became the centerpiece of gatherings filled with joyous
and meaningful memories for everyone. Pat was a dedicated member of Life
Church Vineyard and active in community outreach with numerous local non-
profit organizations.
Pat’s proudest accomplishment as a single working mother was her unwavering
love and dedication to her two sons, Erik and Elliott. She found solace in
witnessing their growth into compassionate husbands and fathers, and
successful individuals. Erik (Stella) and Elliott (Kelly) will forever carry their
mother’s love in their hearts.
Those who knew Pat will also remember her as a doting “Grammy” who
cherished every moment with her grandchildren. Kaya, Elden, Emmett, and
Ethan held a special place in her heart as they brought laughter and happiness
into her life. Their presence filled Pat’s home with warmth and love.
Known as the self-proclaimed “Coupon Queen”, Pat had an undeniable knack for
finding great deals while indulging in one of her favorite pastimes, shopping with
her “little” sisters and close friends.
In addition to her sons, Pat is survived by her siblings, Lynn Francis, Peg (Bill)
Fulk, and Steve (Bernadette) Erwin. She was a beloved Aunt Pat to her
numerous nieces and nephews, Scott (Jen) Crist, Angela Lama, Ben (Katie)
Pavao, Melissa (John) Davis, Adam Erwin, Nathan (Tiffany) Fulk, and Lyndsay
(Tristan) Hannah. Additionally, she leaves behind great nieces and nephews who
held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her late parents,
Clyde and Gerline Erwin and brother, Larry Erwin.
Pat Larabee will always be remembered for her infectious laughter, genuine
kindness, and enduring love for her family. Though she is no longer with us
physically, the memories of her vibrant spirit will forever be etched in our hearts.
