Patricia "Pat" Cox

Patricia Ann Cox, age 85 of Lancaster, passed away on June 1st, 2016 at Crestview Rehab with her family by her side. She was born on April 17th, 1931 to the late Kenneth and Lillian Steward Knotts. She was a 50 year member of Grace United Church of Christ, where she served in the Choir and was the Secretary/Treasurer for the Senior Choir. She worked at the Ford drug store, then became an STNA and worked at Valley View Nursing Home for 17 years, and also made great memories as a stay at home mother. Pat was elected to the Central Ohio Board of Elections Republican Central Committee and was a 25 year poll worker who will be greatly missed.
Pat is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Ding; son, Brad Cox; grandchildren, Lindsey, Rob, and Chris Ding; son-in-law, John Fraim; sister, Katie (Ken) Metcalf; niece Kim (Dabney) Timmerman; nephew, Rod Reynolds, and family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Vickie Fraim.
A funeral service will take place on Friday at 11AM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St. Lancaster, OH officiated by Rev. Mindy Quellhorst. Burial will follow at Forest Rose Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 4PM until 6PM on Thursday June 2nd, 2016 and one hour prior to the service on Friday June 3rd, 2016.
