Patricia Beam

Patricia A. Beam 80 of Westerville, Ohio died Friday, May 19, 2017 at Country View Sunbury, Sunbury, Ohio.

She was a retired administrative assistant for the Lancaster Board of Education. She was a lifelong supporter of the Lancaster Festival, Lancaster Choral, Fairfield Heritage Association and the Maywood Mission. She also enjoyed celebrating the last 25 years with her birthday club.

Patricia is survived by her children, Gaylene (John) Long and Kevin (Nadia) Beam; grandchildren, Emily Long, Erik Long, Kristin Long, Caroline Long, Ian Beam and Ryker Beam. She was loved by the staff and fellow residents of Parkside Village in Westerville where she has resided the last four years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Geneva Pickens and Patty’s beloved Don C. Wendell, Jr.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Caring Cremation® has taken place. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
