Oscar E. Miller

Oscar E. Miller, age 88 of Rushville, died July 1st, 2023 at Buckeye Care and Rehab.  He was born on May 24th, 1935 in Rockbridge to the late Harley and Sadie Zeller Miller. He retired from the county where he was a mechanic.  His true passion was being a farmer.  He loved his Ford Tractors and spending time working on them. His mechanical ability and love for life will be greatly missed.

He was survived by his two daughters, Barbara Miller and Theresa Miller; sister, Mary Brown; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian “Rose” Miller; his parents; and sister Joann (Bowman) Lightfoot.

Calling hours will take place on Friday, July 7th from 12 noon to 1PM at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home.  The funeral service will start at 1PM at the funeral home.
