Beloved mother, Normagene Tommy Glaize, 88 years young, of Millersport passed away peacefully Feb 28th, 2015 at Fairfield Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on Feb 13, 1927 to the late Fredrick and Louella Hammond Thompson. She graduated from Hebron in 1945 and retired from Filter Fab. Tommy, was an honorary favorite personality at Hocking Hills Dialysis Center and will be missed by all who met with her delightful quick wit.
Tommy is survived by her sons, Charles Butch Jr. (Dixie Jo), John, Bobby (Monique), and Dale (Brenda) Mitchell; daughters, Patty (Roger) Freeman, Barbie (Bob) Klingler, Nancy (Bill) Bevington, and Susie Glaize; grandchildren, Dale, Gretchen, Zac, Chase, Christie, DeAnna, and Stormy; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Russell and Doug; sisters, Frances, Rosie, Judy; several nieces, nephews, friends, and caregivers who loved her very much.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; granddaughter, Toni Lynn; brothers, Dick and Dale Thompson; and parents.
A service will take place on Thursday at 10:30AM at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME. Family and friends may call at the funeral home from 2 until 4PM and 6 until 8PM on Wednesday.
