Biography

Norma Jean Darst, 70, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012, at her home.

A loving mother, grandmother, and friend - Forever you will be missed.

Norma is survived by her daughters, Brenda (Jackie) Shaffer and Donna Smith; son, David (Laura) Moyer, Jr.; grandchildren, David Moyer III, Richard Jackson, Corey Smart, Daniel Smart, Tara Spires, William Taylor, Tanya Knotts, Anthony Taylor, and Donta Taylor; and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Foster and Ethel Mae McCabe; brothers, Chuck McCabe and Robert McCabe; sister, Sally Campbell; and significant other, Jesse Chandler.

Family and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. A graveside service will take place at 11:00 am Saturday in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster.
