Nick “Doc” Holliday, 80, of Lancaster, passed away on September 5, 2023 at the Pickering House. He was born on February 21, 1943, son of the late Maxine (Young) and Lloyd Holliday.
He was the owner of Doc’s Place, motorcycle specialist for over four decades. He embraced life, camping, traveling, fishing, mushrooming, 4-wheeling and starting home projects. He truly enjoyed the company of great friends, too numerous to mention.
Doc is survived by his children, Darcee Hamilton, Holly Stump, Brock (Michelle) Seesholtz, Kerry Holliday, and special mention, Nikki Holliday; brother, Thomas (Tess) Holliday; sisters-in-law, Rosemary Holliday and Regina Holliday; grandchildren, Anthony, Cassandra, Malcolm, Halley, Dalton, Courtney, Brady, Christian, Angel, and Abigail; twelve great grandchildren; and one great great grand child.
He was preceded in death by his parents; twin daughters, Penny and Jenny Holliday; Becky Davis; brother, David; and several other sibling, aunts and uncles.
He didn’t want a service or memorial, but Doc’s life touched so many people that the family would like for friends and loved ones to celebrate however you feel compelled. If you knew him in any of his 80 years on this earth, please go out and lift one to Doc.
