Nellie L. Robinson

Nellie L. Robinson, 89, of Baltimore, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 22, 2013, at Autumn at the Lake in Thornville.

Nellie was born November 15, 1923, in Baltimore. She graduated from Liberty Union High School in the class of 1941 and was married to William Robinson, Jr. on August 5, 1941. Nellie was a loving and amazing homemaker, who devoted her life to her family. She was a member of Twig 6, Baltimore.

Nellie is survived by her grandsons, Jeff S. (Casey) O’Connor and William E. “Rob” (Encarnita Pyle) Robinson, Jr.; great grandchildren, Tyler O’Connor, Audrey Robinson, and Drew Robinson; sister, Mildred Estep; nephew, Bill (Amy) Estep; daughter-in-law, Claudia Hayes Robinson; and many special friends - including Heidi Jo Jenkins, Susan Stover-Hite, Dwayne Mohler, Pastor Douglas Lynn, Pastor Beth Bateson, and Tina Light Hayes.

Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Robinson, Jr.; son, William E. “Bill” Robinson, Sr.; parents, Clarence and Inez (Golden) Palmer; and brother, Harold “Ben” Palmer.

A funeral service celebrating Nellie’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Johnson-Smith Funeral Home, 207 S. Main St, Baltimore, Ohio 43105 with Reverend Richard Ellsworth officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore. A meal will follow the services at the Basil Joint Fire District, Station 610, 410 Washington St, Baltimore, Ohio 43105. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
