Ned Williams

Ned Williams, 87, of Baltimore, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 29, 2013. He was born on July 16th, 1925, to the late Carlton and Ferris Williams.

Ned was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Baltimore. He retired in 1987 from F&R Lazarus.

Ned is survived by his wife, Joan Williams; sons, Bradley Williams, Jeff (Stacey) Williams, Gerry Williams, and Kelley (Glenna) Williams; daughter, Jodi (Michael) Lees; “son”, Tim Schaeffer; grandchildren, Erica, Holly, Justin, Danielle, and Raina; great grandchildren, Josie, McKenna, Emma, and Kasidee; and close friend and pastor, Jill Dunlap.

Ned was preceded in death by his parents and parents-in-law, Ray and Edith Turner, and Virgil Poston.

Funeral service for Ned will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Baltimore with Reverend Jill Dunlap officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Baltimore. Friends and family may visit from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
