Neal Welch

Neal R. Welch, age 72, of Lancaster, died January 31st, 2016 at the Pickering House. He was born on February 25th, 1943 to the late, Floyd and Myrtle (Sims) Welch in Pickerington. Neal retired as an office manager for Essex Wire and United Technologies after 22 years. He also worked for Rockwell Industries for 4 years and was a self-employed painter. Neal enjoyed being with is family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.

Neal is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Donna (Hummel) Welch; daughter, Tonya (Jeremy) Kraner; granddaughters, Deryn Kraner and Rhyse Kraner; brother Paul Welch of FL; and sisters, Carol Welch, Patsy (Dale) Truex of TN, Diane Morris, and Luann Welch; several nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law, Bill (Kathy) Hummel of TX.

Neal was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Wilbur Welch, brother-in-law, Harold Hummel; and father and mother-in-law, Alva W. and Mabel Hummel.

Caring Cremation® has taken place through the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME. A Memorial service will take place at 2PM on Saturday, February 13th, 2016 at the Pleasantville United Methodist Church.
