Myrl Huston 93 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Arbors of Carroll Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born on February 20, 1932 in Cumberland, Ohio to the late Walter and Sedalia Huston.
He was a Korean Conflict veteran serving in the US Army. Myrl was the retired owner and operator of Myrl’s Beauty Salon and Boutique in Lancaster for over 50 years.
Myrl was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Lancaster Masonic Lodge #57 F&AM, Aladin Shrine and the American Legion Post #11.
He is survived by his daughter, Molly (Dan) Bates of Lancaster; son, Marc (Suzette) Huston of Sugar Grove; grandchildren, Miles (Ricki Via) Huston, Clark Bates, Matthew Bates, Connor Huston, Nathan (Heather) Bates, Sarah (Wyatt) Borah, Mason Huston, and Crayton Huston; seven great grandchildren and special cousin, Phyllis Heineman.
Myrl was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Ann Huston and his parents.
A Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Rev. Nathan Loudon officiating. Caring Cremation® has taken place. Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home on Saturday.
