Mona Jean (Taylor) Boetcher

Mona Jean Boetcher, 88, died Friday, July 22, 2022 at the Pickering House Lancaster.

She loved going to church, and spending time with her grandchildren. Mona also enjoyed camping and bowling.

Mona is survived by her husband Charles “Gene” Boetcher; daughter Paula; grandchildren April, Misty, Scott, Lakota, Kyli, and Kassidy; seven great grandchildren with one on the way; sister Mary; and brothers Alvin (Marica) and Marvin.

She is preceded in death by her son Kenny; parents Corwin A. and Mildred Taylor; and brother Jim.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to FairHope Hospice, 282 Sells Rd. Lancaster, OH 43130.

Calling hours will be held at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, 405 N. Columbus St. Lancaster, OH, Tuesday, July 26, 2022 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM.

The funeral service will be held at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Ave. Zanesville, OH, Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at 1:00 PM, with calling hours 2 hours prior, followed by burial in Zanesville Memorial Park.
