Molly Osowski, 81, passed peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Bickford of Lancaster Senior Living after a battle with Alzheimer’s.
Molly was born on June 15, 1940 to Dana and Frieda (Kirn) Stewart in Lancaster, OH. After graduating from Kingswood-Cranbrook School in Bloomfield Hills, MI, she went on to attend Endicott College in Beverly, MA where she graduated in 1960.
Molly was warm and gracious to all with impeccable taste and style. She enjoyed art, reading, fashion, travel and most importantly, spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Mike, daughter Ann Eidson of Columbus, stepson Michael (Lillian) of Houston, TX and sister Sarah Stewart-Dunbar of Cincinnati. Molly cherished her time with grandsons Aaron Hunt, Connor Osowski, Walter Osowski and Dylan Osowski. She is also survived by her nephew Andrew (Christy) Dunbar, and brother-in-law Jeffrey (Theresa) Osowski.
Molly was predeceased by her parents, Dana and Frieda Stewart, brother Fred Stewart, stepdaughter Kathleen Osowski, and brother-in-law Bob Dunbar.
During her life Molly was a teacher, a model, and above all; a devoted spouse, mother and grandmother. She will be missed by many friends in Ohio and throughout the country. She was active in numerous civic endeavors including leadership roles in The Froebel Club of Lancaster, The Town Club in Cincinnati, and at The Sherman House in Lancaster. Molly was an enthusiastic volunteer at both the Cincinnati and Columbus Art Museums. In later years she briefly volunteered at The Pickering House in Lancaster. She also loved her weekly visits to the Rockwell Springs Trout Club in Castalia, OH with Mike.
Her membership and involvement with The First Presbyterian Church in Lancaster was a key component of her spiritual life.
The family would like to bless and express gratitude for The Pickering House and Bickford Senior Living for their loving care of Molly.
