Minnie Beatty

Minnie O. Beatty 86 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Monday, February 26, 2018 at Fairfield Medical Center.

She was a retired selector at Anchor Hocking Glass Corp. with 20 years of service. She loved her animals.

Minnie is survived by her children, Allen Ray (Brenda Culbertson Spires) Spires and Jeffrey Earl Spires all of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren, Amy Jo Smith of Lancaster, Chip Smith of Parkersburg, WV, Tony Balthaser of VA, Paul Raymond Smith of Yucaipa, CA, Katelynn Spires of Lancaster and Kimberly Culbertson of Pleasantville; 7 great grandchildren; step-children, Lisa Beatty of Baltimore, Ohio, Connie Beatty and Doug Beatty both of Lancaster, Ohio; step-grandson, Cori Beatty of Baltimore, Ohio; special friends, Diane Bush and Alberta Casto both of Lancaster, Ohio and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth “Kenny” Gene Beatty on January 28, 2018, daughter, Rita Spires, parents, Lucien and Ethel Simmons and 3 brothers.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Caring Cremation® to follow. Friends may visit Sunday from 2:00-5:00 p. m. at the funeral home.
