Miles David Dyer, 65, died unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, June 15, 2022.
Aside from his family, David’s greatest devotion was to his country through his 20 years of service in the United States Marine Corps having earned the rank of CWO3 prior to his retirement. He frequently pointed out that the Marines taught him the value of discipline, commitment, and investing in a cause larger than himself. He would often explain to loved ones how these values contributed to any successes he had in life. Semper Fi!
David is survived by his wife Lynne; his children Rob Anderson, Tracy Curnutt, Jimmy (Michele) Factor, Michael (Ellie) Factor, and Trish Factor; grandchildren Kayla, Kyston, Alexis, Haley, Mary, Noah, Kinsey, AJ, and Jude; great grandchildren Sophia, Aurora, and Penny; sisters Cindy Alexander, Dorothy Davis and honorary brother Wayne (Janice) Atwood; aunts and uncle Harold (Donna) Bigham and Lena Simpson; many nieces and nephews; as well as several other extended family members.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ben and Dena (Bigham) Dyer; daughter Becky Dyer; and brother Gary (Mary) Dyer.
