Michael F. Walter Sr.

Michael F. Walter Sr., 69, of Lancaster, passed away on April 20, 2021 at the Pickering House.

Mike was a proud veteran, serving his country in the US Air Force. He enjoyed Revolutionary War reenacting, was a history buff and Treker.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia R. “Cyndi” Walter; sons, Michael F. Walter Jr., and Andrew R. (Amanda) Walter; grandchildren, Nicholas Walter, Rachel R. I. Walter, Mya R. Walter, and Madelyn T. M. Walter; mother, Jeanette L. Walter; brother, John Walter; and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service officiated by Michael F. Walter Jr. and Ronald W. Beatty will take place at 3 PM on Friday, April 23, 2021 in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. Columbus St., Lancaster, OH, 43130. Burial will follow, with Military Honors, in Hamburg Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 1 PM until the time of services on Friday.
