Michael J. Rieser, age 70, of Baltimore, OH, died suddenly at his residence on May 18th, 2017. He was born to the late Carl and Verna Bowen Rieser, on August 5th, 1946 in Columbus, OH. Michael served in the US NAVY during Vietnam. He was a self employed painter who enjoyed the outdoors. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. Michael loved and respected animals and enjoyed his four legged friends. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and father-in-law, who loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson, Carter Michael James Ferguson. He will be greatly missed by his friends, family, and his ship mates, that he got together with annually for the last 50 years. Everyone will remember "The Good Times" they always had with Michael. He was an amazing person whose memories will never leave the hearts of those who met him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Heather E. Rieser, daughter, Elizabethann (Joshua J.) Ferguson ; grandson, Carter Michael James Ferguson; siblings, Bonnie Messing, Barbara Lavely, Cathy Moeller, Jim (Hannah) Rieser; and many nieces and nephews.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Jack, Richard, Karrie, and Dave.
