Michael "Mike" Bader

Michael “Mike” Bader, 62, of Baltimore, Ohio passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2024, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 5, 1961, to the late Glenn and Donna (Hoffman) Bader. 

Mike was an Air Force Veteran and worked at Wasserstrom Company for 17 years as an installer of products. He loved gambling and doing scratch-off lottery tickets. Mike liked playing cards, going fishing, and camping. He was known as ‘Pops’ to all his grandchildren. 

Mike is survived by his wife of 41 years, Melissa (Smith) Bader; children, Matthew (Marla) Bader, Maxwell (Danielle) Bader, Miles (Abby) Bader, Mason (Maddie) Bader, Tyler (Ashley) Smith; grandchildren, Austin, Ian, Thomas, Reghan, Callie, Mary, Andrew, Grace, Harper, Nolan, Gabe, Mya, Marshall; siblings, Glenn (Margo) Bader Jr, Pam (Marc) Haberman, David Bader, Mark (Andi) Bader; sister-in-law, Marsha Smith; brother-in-law, Marty (Angie) Smith; mother-in-law, Louise Smith; special friends, Jim (Deb) Campbell and Brian (Roseanne) Sparks as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Donna Bader; his grandparents; father-in-law, James “Jim” Smith and 2 siblings, a sister and brother, who passed at birth.
