Michael W. Hepner 53 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away very suddenly on Monday, May 7, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was a concrete field testing technician for ADA ramps for the City of Columbus.
He was an avid Ohio State Fan and golfer, a graduate of Lancaster High School Class of 1977 and a supporter of the Golden Gales.
He is survived by his sisters, Kathleen (Spurgeon) Fosnaugh of Lancaster, Ohio, Cynthia Butterfield of Seattle, Washington and Karla Jean (Jerry) Sheets of Lancaster, Ohio; long time girlfriend, Carlene Jacobs and her children, Ashleigh and Austin; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Craig and Patty Swartz and son, Ryan, Tim Walker and family and Chuck Kness; beloved pets, Sammy and Number 3. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Hepner and Margaret Hepner.
Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. There will be a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
