Melissa Dawn Niggemeyer

Melissa Dawn Niggemeyer, age 40 of Columbus, passed away at Mt. Carmel Grove City on Monday, May 9th, 2022.  Melissa was born on October 7th, 1981 in Lancaster Oh to her loving parents, Kenny and Kim Niggemeyer.  She enjoyed art, was quite good at making crafts, and tending to her plants.  She was a wonderful daughter and loving mother whose amazing personality and love for life will be greatly missed by all.

She is survived by her son, Tony Joe Gilmore; parents, Kenny (Kim) Niggemeyer; twin brother, Nick (Stephanie) Niggemeyer; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; grandmother, Betty Boris; and long time partner, Anthony Gilmore.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard Boris and Maurice and Sally Niggemeyer.

A funeral service will take place at 3pm on Friday at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home.  Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4PM until 7PM and an hour prior to the service both at the funeral home.    Caring Cremation ™ will follow the service.
