Max E. Collins 73 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2012 at Fairfield Medical Center.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Ann E. Kitz Collins; daughters, Lisa R. (Marty) Kenny of Willowick, Ohio and Jane A. Meng of Cincinnati, Ohio; sons, Michael E. Collins and Scott L. (Vicky) Collins all of Lancaster, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Lauren, Kaitlyn and Samantha Meng, Max, Devin and Brooke Collins, and Connor Collins; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, John and Patti Kitz and Jean Lacey and canine companion, Tippy. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Utoqua Collins.
Max was a Lancaster High School graduate Class of 1956. He was a retired journeyman machinist with 47 years of service.
He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, the Ohio Gun Collectors Association and a lifetime member of the Coon Hunters Association.
Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.
