Marynell Rankin

Marynell Rankin, age 80, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2020. She was born August 8, 1940 in Columbus, OH to the late Daniel L. II and Mary Rankin. She is survived by her sisters-in-law Nancy (Koerner) Rankin and Jean (Burr) Rankin; nephews Daniel IV (Caroline) Rankin, Michael (Carol) Rankin, Terry (Mary) Rankin, Tom (Kathy) Rankin, and Tim (Maria) Rankin; niece, Peggy Rankin; and many great and great-great nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her brothers Daniel L. Rankin III and Patrick L. Rankin. .Marynell was a special person who brought special joy to those who knew her. She had an infectious laugh and was very fond of displaying her vast jewelry collection. She would express her happiness with the most profound and enthusiastic praise of “Hallelujah” that will always be remembered. Most of all, she brought a sense of dignity to everyone she touched, and was adored by her brothers and family. Marynell and the family were privileged to have the excellent care from Country Lane Gardens Nursing Home (Pleasantville OH) and Fairhope Hospice. A private ceremony will be held by the family at St. Joseph Cemetery.
