Mary Widener

Mary Katherine Tripp Widener 92 of Carroll, Ohio passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at her residence.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Lancaster, Ohio and a graduate of Ohio University.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Tara (Kirt) Gillette of St. Joseph, Michigan; sons, Thad Widener of Carroll, Ohio, Dana (Vickie) Widener of Lancaster, Ohio and Greg (Barb) Widener of Fennville, Michigan; four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Jack” Widener, parents, Hiram P. and Vivian (Thompson) Tripp and great grandchild, Jude Thomas Widener.

Per her request, a private graveside service will be held at Forest Rose Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130.
