MARY M. (PEGGY) WELSH
Baltimore: Mary M. (Peggy) Welsh, 84, Thornville, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2013 at Autumn at the Lake Healthcare Facility in Thornville.
Peggy was a 1948 graduate of Chartiers Township High School in PA. In 1950 she married her high school sweetheart Wayne. Peggy was a loving mother and homemaker and was a member of New Zion United Methodist Church. Her main interests were baking, playing the piano and organ, and her dedication to her family.
Peggy is survived by her sons, David (Rosa) Welsh of Lancaster, Bradford (Dorothy) Welsh of Kenton OH, Robert (Amanda) Welsh of Westerville; grandchildren, James Welsh, Brooke Welsh-Incorvaia, Braden Welsh, Matthew Welsh, Andrew Welsh, Shannon Mortland, Shawn Ledson, Jason Stuber, Amanda Shirk; 8 Great Grandchildren; sister in-law, Doris Reynolds of Vero Beach FL; and her beloved pet cockatiels, Cookie and Beeps. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, John Edward and Alice Reynolds; sister, Jemina (Virgil) Whanger; brother, Harry (Marguerite) Reynolds; sister, Jennie (John) McCracken; brother, Duane Reynolds.
Family and friends will gather on Friday, September 20, 2013, 4-8 p.m. at JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 207 S. Main St., Baltimore OH 43105. A Celebration of Life will take place Saturday, September 21, 2013 at New Zion United Methodist Church, 10991 Snyder Church Rd., Baltimore OH 43105 at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Rick Stuhmer officiating. Caring Cremation has taken place and burial will follow at Union Evangelical Cemetery.
