Mary Lou Orr

Mary Lou Orr 85 of Carroll, Ohio formerly of Lancaster, Ohio went to be with her Lord and loving husband, Charles “Chuck” Orr on Sunday, August 13, 2017 after an extended stay at Arbors at Carroll. She was born on April 23, 1932 to the late Clyde R. and Maxine (Holzworth) Jones, Sr.

She was vice president of Circle Foods, Inc. which included Famous Food Mart, Blue Drummer Steak House of Circleville and Famous Recipes and Drummer Boys of Lancaster and Circleville. She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ in Dover, Ohio. She was a dedicated wife to Charles for 65 years and a great and unselfish mother to her three daughters and her son.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, parents, brothers, Clyde Jones, Jr. and Robert Jones, granddaughters, Sherri (Benadum) Mills and Krista Orr.

She is survived by her daughters, Marla (Gary) Benadum, Marlene (Mark) Sprague, Alice (Richard) Pryor and son, Ronald Orr; 9 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sisters, Joanne Deibel and Terri Schaar.

Caring Cremation® to take place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLULMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
