Mary Rose Nutter

Mary Rose Nutter, age 69, a resident of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 15th, 2011.

She was a resident of Pleasant View Place, where she made many friends. She was an extraordinary lady; a class act so to speak. The only correct way to describe her was a diamond in the rough. She was shy, timid, and much unknown. She was a Christian woman who did not drink, or smoke, and who behaved in a godly way to the best of her capabilities. She would always attend church and pay her tithe as long as her finances would enable. She was brilliant and had many talents. She loved learning and had attended college many times. She was trained in secretarial duties, the arts, and was a 3-year electrical apprentice before her health slowed her down. In 2010, she survived the removal of her teeth, 80% of her colon, and a brain tumor operation. She was a fighter and was standing strong. She was hero to her family and should be remembered as such. She was an artist and a beautiful floral arranger.

She is survived by her daughter, Franki Nutter; ex-husband, Bill W. Nutter; sisters, Ruth Ann Brenner and Sue Ellen Yenrick; her niece, Bobbi Glass; nephew in law, Jeff Glass; brother in law, Don Nutter; cousin, Benjamin and Jackie Leith along with their son Jay who live in Kingston, Arizona; as well as many other family members and friends.

There will be a memorial service for her at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, October 27th at 4:00 pm with Pastor Craig Cessna officiating.

She was loved and valued at the highest level possible and we will miss her always
