Mary E. (Goins) Hobson

Mary E. Hobson 79 of Baltimore, Ohio passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at the Pickering House.

She was a directory assistant for AT&T where she retired from in 1991.

Mary is survived by her husband of 59 years, Burton; son, Burton (Rhonda) Hobson; daughters, Margaret (Raymond) Robinson and Joyce (Brian) Kemmerly; grandsons, David (Beka) Hobson, Scott Kemmerly, Andrew Robinson, Kevin (Stephanie) Howell; granddaughters, Brooke Robinson, Oliva Robinson, Angela Kemmerly, Ciera (Ben) Bierbaugh, great grandchildren, Lillian Sims, Charlotte Sims, and AJ Howell; brothers, Leslie (Linda) Goins and Kenneth (Kiyoko) Goins; brother-in-law, Don Reed; sisters-in-law, Gail, Brenda and Lois Goins, numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claborn and Lula (Hubbard) Goins, grandson, Thomas Hobson, brothers, Beverly, James, Clarence, Glyndon, Jarvis, Claude, Robert Goins, sisters, Wanda Metcalf, Mattie Reed and Lucy Gibson.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the JOHNSON-SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 207 S. MAIN ST., BALTIMORE, OHIO 43105 with Chaplain Kermit Welty officiating.   A live broadcast of the funeral service will be hosted on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. on the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home and Crematory Facebook page. In accordance with state mandates, COVID protocols including facial coverings and social distancing will be followed. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Baltimore, Ohio.  Friends may visit Wednesday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
