Mary L. Harper 93 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 17, 2013 at the Pickering House. She retired from Jackson School District in food service and had been a clerk for the Hoover Co.
She is survived by her children, Nancy (Glenn) Moreland of Lancaster, Ohio, Betty (Scott) Lehman of moon twp., Pennsylvania and Bill (Jill) Harper of Westerville, Ohio; five grandchildren, Kristi Moreland Hames, Jessica Lehman Garofolo, Jason Harper, Keith Moreland and Heather Lehman; five great-grandchildren, Katherine Hames, Cameron Moreland, Kirk Hames, Caiden Moreland and Lillian Moreland.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Wayne Harper of 55 years, parents, Thomas and Louise “Lucy’ Gannon and brother, Edward Gannon.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUM BUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. Caring Cremation® has taken place. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
