Mary Fauble

Mary R. Fauble, 91, of Lancaster, died on Monday, January 19, 2015, at Carroll Place.

Mary was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church in Lancaster. She was a 1941 graduate of Lancaster High School and she worked several years at the Ohio University - Lancaster Library.

Mary is survived by her son, Loy E. Fauble, Jr. of Lancaster; daughter, Nancy (Howard) Crosbie of South Carolina; grandchildren, Stephen Virgil (Amanda) Crosbie of Maryland and Joseph Andrew Crosbie of South Carolina; sisters, Helen Kilbarger, Hazel Engle, Evelyn (Lloyd) Hardwick, and Shirley Morris all of Lancaster; brother, Clarence W. “Bill” Ankrom, Jr. of Lancaster; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Carl and Virginia Fauble of Florida.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Loy E. Fauble, Sr.; her parents; sisters, Florence Odle, Agnes Ankrom, Patty Callahan, and Ina Stebelton; and brother, Robert Lee Ankrom.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 231 E. Mulberry St, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 with Reverend Mark Raddatz officiating. Friends may visit from 2:00 to 5:00 PM Sunday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster and one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Caring Cremation will follow services and burial will take place at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.

Flowers are welcome or if you would prefer, donations can be made in memory of Mary to Emanuel Lutheran Church.
