Mary ""Babe"" Dupler

Mary I. “Babe” Dupler, age 94 of Lancaster, died January 17th, 2015 at Heartland of Fairfield. She was born on December 5th, 1920 in Royalton, OH to the late, Oscar and Blanche Hart Kiger. She was a member of the Calvary Orthodox Lutheran Church; a 1939 graduate of Amanda High School; and married the love of her life on June 3rd, 1939. Babe was great in the kitchen, and known for her amazing baking skills. She will be greatly missed.
Mary is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law; Rick (Alice) Dupler of Lancaster and Robert (Karen) Dupler Jr. of Logan; one daughter, Carolyn Boggs of Lancaster; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dupler on December 15th,2000; parents; brother, Leroy “Roy”; and sister, Margaret.
The family would like to give a special thanks to Heartland of Fairfield’s outstanding staff, and recognize the great care given by Penny, Jessica, Shannon, Patty, Michelle, Nancy, Heather, and Sandy.
A service will take place on Thursday at 10:30AM at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, officiated by Pastor Mark Pierce. Burial will follow the service at Tschopp Cemetery.
