Biography

MARY LEONA CONNERS, age 94, of Lancaster died Wednesday April 4, 2012 at the Main Street Terrace Care Center.

She was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church and also attended the First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Harry Landis, Lancaster and son and fiancé, Jerry Dupler and Joan Irwin, Lancaster; 6 grandchildren, Suzie (Ed) Dupler-Telle, Shery (K.C.) Kern, Randy Dupler, Lynn (Linda) Landis, Trisha (Paul) Dwyer and Kristy (John) Owen; 10 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren; sister, Geneva Bailey, Texas and brother, Jack Wilabay, Texas; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Howard Dupler and 2nd husband Jerome P. Conners; daughter-in-law, Neva Dupler; parents, J.D. and Lessie Wilabay; brothers, Amos, James and Wayne Wilabay and sister Geraldine McCoy.

Funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:30 am at the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home, Lancaster with Pastor Cheryl Foulk and Pastor Henry Cadwell officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 2-4 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be given to FairHoPe Hospice in her memory.
