Marvin C. Hargus 76 of Lancaster, Ohio died Friday, November 1, 2013 at Fairfield Medical Center. He was a retired senior electrical engineer for United Technologies.
He is survived by his son, Rod Hargus of Lancaster, Ohio; sister, Gwen (Robert) Shahan of Lancaster, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death b his wife, Patricia A. Hargus, son, Richard L. Hargus, parents, Otha and Evis Hargus.
Caring Cremation® has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Grace United Church of Christ with Rev. Dennis Sparks officiating.
