Martha Beougher Roley

Martha E. Beougher Roley 90 of Sugar Grove, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Pickering House.

She was retired from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles for the State of Ohio. She was a member of Sponagle Trinity Lutheran Church, Olivedale Senior Citizens Center, Amanda Senior Citizens and a volunteer for the Lutheran Food Pantry.

Martha is survived by her daughter, Bonnie (Kenny) Roley of Sugar Grove, Ohio; son, Fred (Barbara) Beougher of Lancaster, Ohio; step-children, Linda Rayburn of Rushville, Ohio, Ruth (Larry) McCormick and Mary (Robert) Croft all of Sugar Grove, Ohio, Janet (Steve) Shaw of Lancaster, Ohio, Charles (Shirley) Roley, John (Andrea) Roley all of Sugar Grove, Ohio; Jim (Gladys)Roley and Robert (Vicki) Roley all of Logan, Ohio; grandchildren, Steve (Becky) Roley, Scott (Karen) Roley, Shawn (Nikki) Roley, Shannon (Beth) Roley and Tracy (Anthony) Kochur; many great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; step son-in-law, Bill Kennedy and step daughter-in-law, Patty Roley both of Sugar Grove, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ralph E. Beougher and Donald E. Roley, parents, Stanley and Mary Baumgardner, step-children, Barbara Reese, Gladys Kennedy, and Donald A. Roley, step sons-in-law, William Reese and Donald Rayburn, brothers, Raymond, Charles, Robert, Bill Baumgardner, sister, Mildred Baumgardner, and very good friend, Bob “Brown Bear” Lutz.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Sponagle Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Danny R. Koch officiating. Burial will follow in Stukey Cemetery. Friends may visit Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
