Martha Graf

Martha A. Graf, 83, of Nelsonville, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, October 13, 2014. Martha was born in Logan, Ohio on July 16, 1931 to the late Charles and Angie Christman.

Martha was a 1949 graduate of Logan High School and an Ohio University Alumni. She was a school teacher for several years in Logan and also worked with her husband at Bud’s T.V. in Lancaster. She was a member of Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church. Martha was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.

Martha is survived by her son, Bryon “Buddy” Graf (friend, Tabitha Hall); granddaughter, Alanna (A.J.) Graf Underwood; great grandchildren, Aliescia Donaldson, Curtis Donaldson, Makayla Underwood, and Jeremiah Underwood; sister, Mary (Bill) Helber; sister-in-law, Vivian Woods; and several nieces and nephews.

Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur “Bud” Graf; her parents; and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Friday at the Sixth Avenue United Methodist Church, 1004 W Sixth Ave, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 with Pastor Rick Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Rose Cemetery, Lancaster. Friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 pm Thursday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N Columbus St, Lancaster, Ohio 43130 and one hour prior to the service at the church.

Donations may be made in memory of Martha to the Sixth Ave United Methodist Church.
