Martha Louise Nesbit Fogg 86 of Friendship Village, Dublin, Ohio former resident of Lancaster, Ohio died Saturday, March 1, 2014 after a long lingering illness. She was born on September 28, 1927 in West Union, Ohio.
Martha received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics from The Ohio State University in June 1949 and spent the ensuing year as a Vocational Home Economics teacher at Bremen, Ohio.
She and her husband were 50 year members of Farm Bureau Council 33, were former members of the Lancaster Board of Realtors and the Ohio and National Association of Realtors.
She is a member of the First United Methodist Church in Lancaster, Ohio having served a two year term to the Annual Conference. She was a past active member of the Elizabeth Circle of The Womens Society of Christian Service.
Martha is survived by her husband of 64 years, Donald E. Fogg of Friendship Village, Dublin, Ohio; two daughters, Susan Obenauf Moore of Decatur, IN and Louann Reilly of Centennial, CO; three grandchildren, Jeremy Obenauf of Dublin, OH, Chad Obenauf of East Lansing, MI, and Megan Reilly of Parker, CO; five great-grandchildren, sister, Rose Clem of Johnstown, OH; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John E. Nesbit, II and Maude A. Nesbit, two brothers, John Eliot Nesbit, III and Harold E. Nesbit, nephews, Stephen L. Clem and John E. Nesbit, IV, sister-in-law, Martha Nesbit and brother-in-law, Jack W. Clem.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert Kimes officiating. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.
