Marlena Kay (Griffith) Marcum

Marlena Kay Griffith Marcum 55 of Lancaster, Ohio lost her battle to cancer on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at Crestview Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her family.

She was a cook for the Fraternal Order of Eagles.  She enjoyed fishing, hiking, animals and being in the great outdoors.

Marlena is survived by her daughter, Samantha Gail Marcum of Thurston, Ohio; mother and step-father, Sharon K. Griffith and Jerry Schultz; sister, Aurena Marie Griffith and Kyle B. Murdock all of Lancaster, Ohio; aunts, uncles, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Marlin “Buster” S. Griffith and grandparents.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCATSER, OHIO 43130.  Caring Cremation® has taken place.

Friends may visit from 9-11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
