Marjorie Rockey 92 of Lancaster, Ohio passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Heartland-Fairfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was a member of St. Mary Assumption Catholic Church, graduate of Lancaster High School Class of 1938, enjoyed playing euchre, bowling, and member of the Fairfield County Humane Society, worked at the Fairfield County Fair and loved music.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter, Sally (Don) Seitz of Lancaster, Ohio; grandson, Scott (Kris) Seitz of Dublin, Ohio; great grandson, Jacob Seitz; nieces and best friend, Mary Jo Dickerson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Rockey, son, Charles Butch Rockey and parents Delno and Elizabeth Sowers.
Caring Cremation has taken place by the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130. A private graveside service will be held at St. Mary Cemetery at a later date.
