Marjorie Eileen (Folk) Poling, 79, of Lancaster, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2011.
Eileen was a member of Calvary Orthodox Lutheran Church and the Tuesday Quilters Club. She was a secretary for Lancaster City Schools for many years. She also worked for Hocking Valley National Bank and Gaffney Motors
She is survived by her sons, Kim L. Poling of Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina and Michael A. (Rita) Poling of Bremen; granddaughters, Chasity D. Poling and Jennifer D. Poling both of Lancaster; step-grandsons, Emanuel S. (Michaela) Shamblin of Lancaster and Markus E. Shamblin of Bremen; great grandchildren, Gabreille Shamblin and Lyric Shamblin; brothers, Roger (Marilyn) Folk of Duringo, Colorado, Gene (Pam) Folk of Pickerington, Martin (Lois) Folk of Lancaster, and Roland (Becky) Folk of Junction City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Donald P. Poling and her parents, Howard and Helen Folk.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at Calvary Orthodox Lutheran Church, Lancaster with Pastor Roger Hale officiating. Friends may visit one hour prior to the service at the church. Caring Cremation has taken place with the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, Lancaster. Burial will take place at a later date in Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster.
